Meet the Hosts
Hey there! My name is Lexi! I went to Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University, where I received a B.S. in medical microbiology and a minor in Spanish.
While in college, I was a medical scribe for three emergency departments and a student researcher in a microbiology lab conducting research on Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacterium that causes tuberculosis. I also studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland, and shadowed multiple specialties.
In 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic began, I co-founded the National Pre-Health Community, a student-led nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free resources and guidance for anyone of any background pursuing a career in healthcare. I believe you should not have to pay to learn how to be a competitive candidate for medical school, PA school, or any other healthcare career.
Hi, I’m Natalie! I’m a junior at Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University majoring in Biomedical Sciences and minoring in Spanish Language. I’m involved with and hold leadership positions in numerous organizations around ASU, including being a tour guide for the honors college!
Outside of class, I enjoy volunteering at HonorHealth, reading, going to the gym, and spending time with loved ones. I hope to attend medical school after graduation from Barrett and am passionate about helping the underserved communities of Arizona. I’m so excited to be part of the National Pre-Health Conference and the Pre-Health Pod!
